Krakow is bursting with history, grand basilicas, castles, and great museums. You can be a Scholar by day and party-animal at night and its fine because Krakow blends the two personas effortlessly.
The former capital city has become the countries culture capital, it hosts several annual festivals including music, food, art, theatre, dance film and many more.

Krakow is a city best explored by foot. With most restaurants, attractions, and sites all within the Old Town, there’ll be no real need to hop in a taxi or bus.
The city has a well-connected bus and tram system which runs from 05:00 - 23:00 and a night bus and train too.
In the heart of Krakow Old Town is the Main Market Square that is a hub for history and architecture. We recommend you visit The Sukiennice, one of the world’s oldest shopping centres. Here is also a central point to all the major attractions in Krakow, as well as nightclubs and bars.

The UNESCO-listed castle is the symbol of Poland’s national identity. Once the home of the King of Poland, it has now been made into a museum with five sections to visit. A separate ticket is required for each section, so we recommend the State Rooms and Royal Private Apartments.
Just a stroll from the Old Town, the historic Jewish Quarter of Krakow was previously its own city. Today, it’s a part of Krakow’s identity, it has kept its own unique culture and vibe with picturesque synagogues, cool street art, and bohemian pubs to visit.
This uber cool museum is the home for all contemporary art in Krakow. You’ll be impressed by the grand, techy exhibitions and collections filled with avant-garde and innovating pieces. It’s also right next door to the Schindler’s Factory museum so it’s worth knocking two bird with one stone!
Krakow didn’t get the title of the ‘European Capital of Gastronomic Culture 2019’ for no reason, the city has fantastic options of fine dining, fast food, charming cafes and bakeries for you to try.
The café is adored by locals and tourists alike. Situated in the middle of the Planty Gardens; although it has no walls its perfect to visit any time of the year. It is also connected to an art gallery so it’s worth a wander in after your meal.
Expect hearty Polish and eastern European dishes when you visit this small, authentic restaurant. It’s a nice stop in the Old Town for a traditional Polish dinner.

This casual restaurant is hidden down a little alley just off the Main Market Square. The buffet-style spot specialises in hearty, healthy plates of homemade food at an affordable price. There is plenty of vegan and vegetarian options too, and we won’t even get started on the craft beer selection.
If you’re looking to let your hair down and have fun until the sun comes up, Krakow is the place to be. It is said to have one of the highest density of bars and clubs in the world, so you CANNOT say you have nowhere to go!
Two dancefloors, three bars, great music, a new DJ every day, food, cheap drinks, Lokal Krakow can be your one stop for the night. With a choice in R'n'B, hip-hop and dance music, you’ll have a nice to remember in this convert old tenement house.
It is said to be one of the first clubs in the city and Frantic is still one of the best. Still loved by locals and flocked to by tourists - its four bars and two dance floors is enjoyed clubbers that like a mix of dance, pop, house, R&B, EDM, and hip-hop from Polish and international DJs.
This bar is one of the most famous in the city located in Kazimierz. The entrance is through the wardrobe into many small rooms filled with old furniture, this place will be hard to forget!
It’s the home to over a hundred types of drinks to try, Zlew is one of Krakow's oldest Polish style bars. It’s great for meeting locals and socialising with a fellow tourist, and the friendly staff will make you feel right at home.
